Fuel economy

The complete Toyota Corolla lineup provides an impressive lineup with each model. According to EPA ratings, the 2025 Toyota Corolla LE offers 32 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. This means the combined mileage expected from the car model is 35 mpg. The hybrid engines, on the other hand, have a combined 50 mpg. In the city, the hybrid is expected to provide 53 mpg and 46 on the highway. These numbers see a small dip when one chooses to drive an all-wheel hybrid Corolla. In that case, the EPA ratings are 48 mpg combined. In the city, the ride offers 51 mpg or 44 mpg on the highway.

Safety

Safety remains a cornerstone of the Corolla’s design. Most features offered here are similar to the ones present in its predecessors. The Toyota Corolla 2025 lineup comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite as a standard inclusion. This suite includes safety aspects such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beam. The lineup also has optional front and rear parking sensors. The reason for not standardizing this is that the adaptive front lights included in the lineup resulted in the lights turning in the direction the car is turning. Additional features like blind-spot monitoring and RCTA (rear cross-traffic alert) are available through optional packages on the LE and SE trims.
